International Management Minor

By minoring in international management, students gain an understanding of the complexities of doing business in a globally integrated marketplace and the impact of political, economic and cultural factors that underlie global decision making. Students will also develop the ability to identify international opportunities and the factors that impact success of global business endeavors.

Students interested in working in globally integrated industries like automotive, defense and technology may find the minor in international management will complement their major area of study.

Minor RequirementsAdvising


The international management minor requires a minimum of four courses for business students, and five courses for students from all other majors. Students will discover strategies organizations employ when they operate worldwide and learn about the organizational behavior of companies from different parts of the world.

This minor complements a diverse range of majors, including engineering and computer science, international relations, and most liberal arts majors.
